Guilds

Plano has the ambitious goal to become one of the largest real estate DAOs operating within the crypto-native economy.

As Plano grows, so will its level of decentralization for resource allocation and operational functions. Initially, the Guilds will be managed by early contributors.

Over time, as Plano grows its member base, Guilds can elect their own Committees and secure funding to operate autonomously and/or with financial independence from the Treasury, further assisting in the decentralization of the control of Plano.

Hype Guild

The Hype Guild will facilitate communication and engagement with the wider work with the goal of driving the adoption and usage of Plano tools. As required, they may request the allocation of funds for these activities via the proposal process.

Tech Development Guild

The Tech Development Guild is responsible for the development of tools that comprise the Plano Platform according to a roadmap voted on by Governors. As required, they may request the allocation of funds for these activities via the proposal process.

Tech Support Guild

The Tech Support Guild is responsible for assisting tool users to maximize the utility they derive from the Plano Platform. As required, they may request the allocation of funds for these activities via the proposal process.

Grants Guild

The Grants Guild will facilitate the application, issuance, and reporting of grants to the Plano community. Each grant proposal will be submitted for a vote. If approved, grant funds will be provided by the DAO Treasury.

The Grants Guild will also support Committees by facilitating proposal curation, governance discussions, voting participation and reporting.

All grant applications need to demonstrate that they add value to the Plano platform and/or ecosystem. Any community member can apply for a grant by submitting a Grants Guild application.
