On-Ground Resources
Resource tokens are purchasable and guarantee the use of the equivalent on-ground resource or permission.
On-ground operation of Equipment can be delegated to Suppliers. Suppliers have permissions to control the production of resources via the operation and maintenance of equipment.
Resource management is important to manage scarce or shared resources consumed by on-ground activities. Each community council is responsible for maintaining sufficient resource levels. This is typically achieved through the provisioning of new equipment to produce additional resources as required. The community treasury may be involved with funding such activities.
Raw Materials
Materials such as internet service, electricity, water, or sewage are considered raw materials.
Raw material tokens are minted from Equipment specializing in their production. Data for on-ground production or consumption activity is provided by Oracles
Resources tokens are purchasable for use by resource consumers, e.g. Landholders . Resource Tokens are burned as they are consumed. Resource Tokens for perishable resources, e.g. electricity are burned if not consumed.
Labor
Access to labor for services such as maintenance, housekeeping, gardening, pool maintenance, repairs etc.
Labor is provided by Suppliers. Each Supplier of Labor is certified and awarded a Labor Badge (ERC-721 NFT) by the Community in which they provide service.
Labor is metered in that it is provided according to a certain unit of measurement e.g. “per hour”, or “per event”. Suppliers are permitted to mint an unlimited supply of Labor tokens of varying types, according to the labor service being represented. Labor tokens are then sold on the Marketplace app to consumers of labor (Landholders, guests etc).
Once the labor service being provided is completed (e.g once a house has been cleaned), the token is burned. In the case that the consumer is unsatisfied with the labor they were provided, they may seek redress via the dispute resolution dApp.
